バンギ ― 中央アフリカ共和国の35の保健地区のうち14の地区で、少なくとも2万4,000人の5歳未満の子どもたちが、最近の暴力の急増により、重度の急性栄養失調の危険にさらされていると、世界食糧計画(WFP)とUNICEF(国連児童基金)が本日警告しました。現在、子どもの栄養不良の危機を警戒している14の地区のうち、6つの地区では、子どもの急性のニーズに対応するための資源も能力もありません。
