WFPでは、飢餓撲滅の活動におけるイノベーションを求め、スタートアップ企業等やNGOといった外部団体及びWFPスタッフを対象に、メンターシップや助成金等の支援事業「WFPイノベーション・アクセラレーター」 (‘The WFP Innovation Accelerator’)を展開しています。 2015年、ドイツ・ミュンヘンに設立したWFPイノベーション・アクセラレーターでは、年に約2～3回、WFP内外から人道支援活動を革新的に前進させるアイデアや技術を募集しています。 審査を通過したチームは、短期集中型のトレーニングに招待され、そこで更に選抜された場合、WFPの食料支援活動現場に試験的に技術を活用していただきます。（活用に至ったイノベーションの事例はこちら） 応募条件や締切等の募集要項、各種プログラムの予定等はこちらをご参照ください。 その他、日本語の資料はこちら。

WFP EMERGENCY FOOD AID REACHES WEST JAVA EARTHQUAKE AND TSUNAMI VICTIMS JAKARTA - Working in close cooperation with Indonesian authorities, the United Nations World Food Programme has rapidly responded to the immediate needs of persons affected by the 17 July earthquake and tsunami in West Java.
