2021年の「世界の食料安全保障と栄養の現状」(SOFI2021)報告書のテーマは、”Transforming food systems for food security, improved nutrition, and affordable healthy diets for all”(すべての人が食料安全保障、栄養改善、手頃な価格での健康的な食事を実現できるようにするための食料システムの変革)です。食料システムを抜本的に改革し、栄養価の高い食事を、安価で、安全に、環境への負荷を最低限に、提供することの重要性が益々高まってきました。今年9月開催の国連食料システムサミットで緊急に話し合い、改革のための糸口を探る第一歩となるのが、まさにこの報告書です。
